Bhutan Motorcycle Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Paro – Thimphu Ride (65Km / 01 Hour)
Meeting assistance upon arrival at Paro International Airport.  Our guide will wait you at exit door and after a short introduction, put your luggage on our backup van. Start your Motorcycle engine and start hitting the road toward Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan which is expected to take about 1 hour ride. Once we reach Thimphu, visit to the Takin Zoo, the National Animal of Bhutan. Visit National Library, where world largest book is kept. Visit Painting School, where young Bhutanese undergo 5 years training to learn different kind of Arts and Crafts of Bhutan. Visit to Tashichho Dzong (fortress), which serve as His Majesty’s office, Monastic body and Administrative section.  In the evening stroll around Thimphu city. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Thimphu – Trongsa Ride (220 Km / 7 Hours)
Today we will leave early for Trongsa crossing Dochu La Pass, Lobesa town, Wangdiphodrang town and Chendebji Stupa. Stop at Dochu La Pass for a panoramic view of Himalayan range. Enroute to Pele La Pass. Later in Trongsa, visit to Trongsa Dzong (fortress) and Ta Dzong (museum) Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Trongsa – Tingtibi Ride (105 Km / 3 Hours)
Leave for Tingtibi, which falls on sub-tropical zone and very least developed district in Bhutan and it has handful of houses and hotel. Once, we leave Trongsa, we will slowly descend down till we reach to based of Tingtibi valley and Tingtibi also known as best spot for Bird Watching and Fishing. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Tingtibi – Panbang  (85 Km / 3 Hours)
Today we will ride further to Panbang which is located adjacent to Royal Manas National Park which are home to endangered Golden Langur, Asian Elephant, Water Buffalo, Gaur, Rufous necked hornbill, pygmy hog, Bengal Tiger, clouded leopard and wild cats.  On the way, we stop at a Panbang waterfall. Our ride toward Panbang going to be an adventure ride and challenging as well. Today we will spend night at Jungle Lodge Camp. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Jungle camp. If you are interested we can arrange campfire and enjoy Barbeque.

Day 05: Panbang
Enjoy 1 ½ hour River Rafting in Manas River and in the afternoon enjoy Elephant Safari in Royal Manas National Park. Panbang also best suitable spot for endanger Golden Mahseer (torputitora) fly-fishing tour. Dinner and overnight stay at Jungle Lodge camp. If you are interested we can arrange campfire and enjoy Barbeque.

Day 06: Panbang – Tingtibi (85 Km / 3 Hours)
We ride back to Tingtibi and enjoy your day. In the evening stroll around. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07: Tingtibi – Gelephu – Tsirang (144 Km / 4- 5 Hours)
After breakfast, we ride uphill till we reach Tama La Pass and after crossing Tama La Pass, we descend down. Stop at Gelephu town for a hot lunch. Gelephu is a bordering town in southern Bhutan with Indian State of Assam and nearest city to connect Guwahati, India. After lunch, we will ride for about 30-45 minutes on stretch on a Gelephu – Tsirang highway. Once we crossed Sarpang checkpoint, we will climb up till we reach Tsirang town. Visit to Tsirang Dzong (fortress) Check into hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Tsirang – Punakha (160 Km / 5 Hours)
After early breakfast, we will descend down till we touch Sunkosh river base and our ride will be along the Punatshangchu riverside. Visit to Punakha Dzong (fortress) Evening at leisure or stroll around Punakha town. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09: Punakha – Thimph (71Km / 2 Hours)
After breakfast, we will ride back to Thimphu, crossing Dochu La Pass. Enroute, visit to Simtokha Dzong. While in Thimphu, visit to Weekend Market and Craft Bazaar. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10: Thimphu – Paro  (65Km / 1 Hour)
We will leave early for Paro and hike to world famous temple “Tiger’s Nest”. The hike to Tiger’s Nest would take about 3 hours uphill and 1-hour downhill. Afternoon, visit to Ta Dzong (museum) overlooking whole Paro valley. Visit to Rinpung Dzong (fortress) and Kichu Temple, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Evening stroll around. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Optional: We will ride to Chele La Pass (3,988m), which is 1-hour ride from Paro town. During clear weather, one can able to witness the great Panaromic view of Mountain Jumolhari Peak.

Day 11: Paro (Departure)
Morning ride to Airport for your onward flight to back home. Your beautiful Bhutan Motorcycle Tour ends here!
